MOUNTAIN STREAM ONE OF NATURES MOST BEAUTIFUL CREATIONS
STREAMS of pure water ~ flowing nigh and day
Day time the stream is visited by thirsty sheep
Sheep that come to drink from its still pools
Pools of clear cool water at the streams edges.
Edges of the stream ~ the habitat of weeds & reeds
Reeds like bulrushes add beauty to the stream
Stream of pure water ~ flowing day and night
Night time and the mountain stream still flows
Flows continuously ~ visited by night creatures
Creatures such as the barn owl and foxes.
Foxes are nocturnal because they are hunted
Hunted by men on horses waving hunting horns !
Horns they blow as the stride over the moors and streams
Streams of pure water gurgling melodically ~ STREAMS
