Shadows On The Wall.

a definitive thought spared itself for a time
wondering alone on a dark cold summers street
distance is calling with all those shadows on the wall
that passes us by without even a flinch in the sky
covered in clouds above, oh they are scrupulous
finding the walk of life, showered uncomfortably by night
another around the corner and bump into what you find
unsuspected when certainty found a determination outside
deepness and with all those flapping beautiful butterfly wings
caught in the air with a breath of flaming consolation in desire
letting it live as we speak even going into a black hole
emptied with regret of knowing you want a life to lead
shuttered with flashing stoned eyes gazing upon a soul
fell foul to what is expected when there is nothing left to hide
so lay yourself before the wisdom of your own knowledge
worried with despair, when will you find another you
sacrifice the justifications that inspire the world we created
left aside on its own to cry a million undeveloped tears
shown with desperation and left to live a life alone
with all those hungry mouths that we all have to feed
and if there is a God hiding in the sky, does he look down
it\'s such a shame for all those lonely ones in need
sharpness on the edge right to the bone, so, so sad
it happens all the time when dependence lights a light
a fist held close and tight in the hope of what will be will be
there is so much more left when you have discovered it all
leaving a sensation that sits deep down and resides in hope.
