HEMSBY NORFOLK (E COAST) DECEMBER 2O13 ~ 7 HOMES LOST
B ESIDE A SEASIDE is where we love to live
E veryone in the UK dreams of living on the Coast
S erenity ~ Just like the retired couple who lived
I n the lovely BUNGALOW shown in our photograph
D own the eroded Coast it slipped one night ~ They
E scaped without injury but alas without their HOME
A verage of SEVENTY HOMES disappear each year !
S eas are ruthless and they are no respecter of
E ither Man or his Habitation, The UK has fewer
A reas of land (5 sq miles) per mile of coast ~
S o the UK is very susceptible to Coastal Erosion
I have visited som of these sites and the are really
D readful because people have lost their Dream Homes.
E ach Coast erodes on average two metres per year !
