CHARLIE BROWN ~ Went last week on a Field Course
And so I asked him Charles what did you see ?
He thought and said ~ O YES ~ I saw a field
Is that all I asked ? O NO ~ I saw a tree !
I SAW A FIELD ~ and it was filled with wonder
Beneath my head the scent of Meadow Grass
I hear the buzz of busy bumble bees
A swirl of starlings overhead do pass !
Sky blue the Sky ~ the Clouds are white as snow
The Sward ~ the Lake ~ all nature is in love
The Trees reach out to touch the skies above
O such a vision ~ sets my heart aglow !
It\'s just a field with daisies prim and white
And buttercups and dandelions so gold
Where\'er I look \'tis awesome to behold
One simple field in Summer\'s garland bright
Never take a flower filled field for granted
The scents the sights the silences and sounds
Such beauty was by Mother Nature planted
Lay back and marvel at ~ God\'s own creative hand
Thanks for visiting ~ This is an extended sonnet
