Just Me.

Christmas is drawing near,

Celebration has already begun,

Presents are bought in abundance,

By those who can afford it again.

Never a thought for the poor,

No concern or care,

Is given for those who have nothing,

And no one seems to care.

The whole truth of Christmas has vanished,

Along with God’s only son,

Who was born long ago in a manger,

So God’s work on earth might be done.

Things that we must always posses,

Take our hearts and minds away,

From the godly thoughts of graciousness,

And the price that Jesus paid.

Remember the love that Jesus showed,

And don’t forget to see,

The poor, the needy, the lost, the lame,

And forget the words \"Just Me\".
