Be kind to others
Follow the golden rule
All your life
You\'ve been told how to behave
What is right and what is wrong
The friends you can have
And where you belong
But right now as you look at me
All rebellious and angry
Staring at me so defiantly
As if the sure will of your anger
Can falter me
I understand the arrogance
Of censorship
The reasons you rebel
Dammed if you don\'t
And even if you do
You\'re going to hell
You live in hell
There is no way to fight
the whole world
So do what you\'re told
Because even if you speak
You\'re overruled
You can\'t wear those pants
Or all that make-up
Or bring your dog
Even if he saves your life
We can\'t fix the school food
But you can\'t bring your own
Or express yourself
From here on out
You are banned
from expression
In the land of freedom
While conspiracy
to depopulate
And to segregate
so that big oil can win
And rule again
You will watch the environment die
All the time you are wondering why
We don\'t understand
your rebelliousness
Your anger
Or how you view the world
