Today I got a smile
from the old man down the street.
His eyes were filled with kindness
as his heart opened to me.
I could see his good intentions
in his face as I stared
and it didn\'t make me happy
\'cause I didn\'t really care.
My day had been okay, I guess
I didn\'t have much to tell,
but I passed him in a manner
that said \"Hey, go to hell\".
And I didn\'t feel bad
upon my first reflection,
but after the fourth, fifth, sixth time
I thought it over, I regret it.
So I made sure I went back
to his small house down the street,
and I flashed him a smile
with my unforgiving teeth.
And he did exactly what
any cute old man would do,
he showed me his favorite finger
and said, \"Hey, fuck you too\".
