The Sun’s Darkness
The sun’s too hot
And the shadow’s too cold
Why would we rather loose
What’s inside
Just to see the light
And be able to touch
And feel it
Have we never
Heard of
Admire from afar
Sometimes
It\'s better to look and not touch
Why must we always have to hold it in our hands
We have to touch it
Hold it
And most of all
Take it for granted
What would happen
If one day
The sun went away
Would we freak out
Would we die
Or try our best to survive
Or possibly
We would just sit there
Shocked
Trying to get it back
Isn\'t that what we do best
But that’s not possible
If that’s it
Then why don’t we lose it
When we see the moon
Is it because
Something took the sun\'s place
Or that we know we will see the source of light again
And that we can survive a night without it
And if we got a warning
We would try to save it
Of course
But life
It never gives you warnings
If we would try to save the sun
Then would we do the same
For the moon
Eventually
We would have to get tired
Of the light
And we would seek the cold and darkness
We would seek the sun’s darkness
Something we don’t care about
Until we need it
