When he still loved me it felt like I was on cloud nine
But now that he forgot about me, Ive let my tears run dry
People tried to tell me he wasn\'t worth my tears
But my heart tells me that I\'ll love him for years
Why is it so hard to forget about him these days
When I\'m happy and free, a moment with him fills my mind
And I cannot erase the sound of his voice
For then I think about all the moments when he was mine
I had him only for a short while, and I fell too fast
And before I knew it, a better offer came along
I guess I should\'ve known it couldn\'t last
At least I have those few good memories
