Here in this hour of midnight past,
Words revolve, my mind now lost.
A sound invades my quiet space,
Far too loud cat and dog race.
Hurricane Henry is just outside,
Up to mischief here about.
A haunting tuned being played,
Outside my window pane.
Almost a tree orchestra in full,
Even the maestro\'s tapping his baton.
My room filled with blackboard light,
save for a standby bulb, shining bright.
My Tinnitus ears a sound of safari nights,
No beasts but insects wings in flight.
Oh tiredness strangles my inspiration,
And now To sleep I must surrender.
