Voyage

The mind sets sail and then the heart, I know not why this journey starts.

To be so meek but have such power, following one through darkest hour, the course unknown to captain, true - but one that\'s known too well by crew.

This crew consists of one lone man, upon a ship without a plan. The waters rocky, grim and glum - the constant thrashing leaves him numb.

A blind man\'s voyage, a pointless haul? Uncertainty shall swallow all. Yet through the dark a light appears, a light to guide him through his years.

The light, he asks it, \"friend or foe?\" The man upon the ship can\'t know. The captain of the vessel knows yet doesn\'t speak, still as a rose.

This light, it shows the man a place, a paradise this ship must chase. The sun beats down and palm trees sway, upon the beach - a place to lay. \"Perfection\", just a word, it seems - yet here it is, a land of dreams.

A fleeting vision, quickly gone. A shore too hard to land upon. The ship could sink or stay afloat, the man will never leave this boat.
