Copper

I see your son

I see your son rise to the highest point, higher than any skyscraper,

I see your son fall, to the lowest depths, as low as the banks go.

I see your son, a junkie under shrouded light of an alleyway. I see your son, scum, lowest of low, I see your son, yet still above you.

I see your daughter, wired as the electrical grids.

I see your daughter, whoring herself out to those more fortunate after dawn.

I see your daughter, giving away flowers and popping cherries after dark,, after the dance the dance .

I see your ex wife

I see your ex wife, drinking martinis in the morning, whiskey by mid day and champagne  under the light of the night.

I see your ex wife putting on a different face and dress for every man, lying through life.

I see your ex wife drowning sorrow after sorrow in different clubs, bars, homes, events, men, and women.

I see your ex wife, so tired with life and restless issue.

I see your parents

I see your parents, six feet under soil.

I see your parents with all they left behind.

I see your parents, flowers and mementos overhead.

I see your parents ashamed, filled with remorse over every parental decision.

I see your father, still gripping a bottle and angrily gritting  his teeth

I see your mother, eyes still turned and head down.

I see your parents, ashamed  and as gone as before.

I see your co workers

I see your co workers behind you with whispers and hopes.

I see your cousin, among co workers, expectations raised at the sight of you.

I see your co workers, primrose way for your cousin, hatred at jealousy.

I see your cousin, frantic, helpless at work and in life.

I see your uncle.

I see your uncle, life behind a sign, rent is high and streets are cold.

I see your uncle, at the banks of tin and hope.

I see your uncle, survival of copper and nickel, rags are necessity.

I see your aunt.

I see your aunt, cocktails and prescriptions of the middle class are held dear at her side.

I see your aunt, currency is surplus, principle and ideal are a commodity sought after. Hypocritical of different thought.

I see your aunt, bigotry and christianity are secondhand.

I see your aunt.

I see you.

I see you, blood is iron, blood is copper

I see you, blood, sweat, and alcohol are a part of your life and work.

I see you, blood is a part of you but not your life.

I see you, blood inside is worked and at value, but your blood outside is neglected and scum.

I see you, pedestal under your feet  but you are on a step stool. blood and citizen beneath the ego of trash.

I see you, you are bussiness and whole hearted bull shit.

I see you, philanthropy your child that you drunkenly beat every night.

You are scum.

 You ae scum.
