it is not fair to feel this way
i wish this would just go away
the doctors been around today
and said that in my bed ill stay
he felt my head he felt my tum,
and then he turned and looked at mum,
well in this room hell have to stay,
until this bug has gone away ,
make sure the others stay away
and do not let him out to play
with sullen eyes and sucked in cheek
and with a breath that really stinked
the grey old doctor looked and thinked
this boy must stay here till its done
he has sore nose and muddle tum
so for this patient i prescribe
a dose of hugs and lullabies
and when he gets back on his feet
its back to school,
should be next week.
