My head is pounding knowing
I have to leave your bed.
Peeking my foot outside the blanket,
the cold air sends a burning sensation through my leg.
Grabbing your arm to move it,
I\'m distracted by how warm you are.
I think to myself
five
more
minutes.
Then you mumble sleepily
that you love me.
I can’t leave.
My mind enters pure bliss.
I turn to kiss you,
Blood rushing to my face, heart beating faster,
I should of left already.
I love you too.
