Have you ever tasted love?
Something poets ever dream of.
Sunlight on a mourning flower
Alarmed by midnight\'s shower.
Warmed nectar filling the air
Softening ill of grim despair.
Have you ever wasted love?
Letting it pour out your heart,
Winding, weeping, ways apart,
Drying like a desert stream,
Dying sense of self esteem,
Every single try for naught.
Pray it\'s not a fated thought.
