Although his life was blighted
He expected to be Knighted
Arise Sir Paul ~ He was enthralled
He smiled up at the Queen
But it was not the Sword of State
But Madame Guillotine !
He paid the price ~ It wasn\'t nice
Now he was daed ~ He\'d lost \'is \'ed !
His body lifeless lay
Now he had nothing more to say
He\'s dead ~ He\'s lost \'is \'ed
Inside the basket he surmised
Was it something that I did
Or ~ something that I said ?
The most unkindest cut of all
A bitter bitter blow
What caused his fate ?
To lose his pate
Now he will never know !
The moral of this tale is clearly seen
Don\'t intercourse with Madame Guillotine
