So as you take the time to pray;
pray for both the sick and poor.
But your prayers alone won\'t help.
Out of the heart you must give more.
Take a look out in the street.
Do you see what I do see?
Take a look deep down inside.
Ask yourself, \"What if it were me?\"
Do you care if I\'m in pain?
Would you hear my cry of hunger?
Ignore pleading out-stretched hand?
Would you just watch me go under?
Do you see the point I make?
Can we swallow a little pride?
We can make it a better place,
but it begins with you and I.
Is it hard to sometimes help?
Is my asking such a sin?
Look at your heart, though sometimes dark,
this is where it all begins.
Do you pause? Pray out loud?
Maybe silent in your place?
Do you wonder what is love?
What\'s amazing about grace?
Here we are! We are sinners.
We both whine and do complain.
If He took all of our blessings?
Would we then all act the same?
