Will you take my hand and walk with me?
Out there. See, by the sea, where
The sun settles so sensationally,
It\'s coral glare filtered through strands of hair.
There. An image of a salt water swell
Surges rich color to your cheeks,
Like Henri Matisse adding the final
Brushings, strokes and piques.
The waves bounce and dance,
A cadence to our romance.
And your eyes sparkle to the sea.
The sand, still warm, caresses our feet,
The prints of which point inwardly.
Bright multicolored clouds gather
To celebrate fealty, fidelity
As the sun humbles to the sea
And hearts quiver each a plea.
The wind whispers. Brows broaden,
Lids lower, lips soften,
Knees weaken, as nature speaks.
