Whine and groan about country blokes
Back roads religion, huntn\', and guns
Little ambition, simple, homespun.
There\'s that Redneck motivation
Them that lack Ed du ma ca tion.
They\'ll buy Mama a double wide,
Old rusty swing sets right outside.
Grammy and gramps still together
Marriage survived stormy weather.
Their heroes are real live people.
Villains lie and long to weasel.
Every kid knows who\'s his daddy,
Mom is close, no need for nanny.
Treat your parents with due respect
Cheat or fib gits your fanny wept.
Country morals when put to test
Fewer quarrels and less distress.
Whether rural or city we call them equal,
But God is still special amongst these good people.
