A few hours well spent...
I\'ve just done a favour for my daughter today,
Dropped off a writing desk, to a couple not far away.
So happy they were to receive this writing table,
To help with daughters drawing,to make her more able.
A sad face the father had, when relaying a story to me,
he couldn\'t pick it up, as his car wouldn\'t start you see.
I said I\'ll have a look, as I\'ve worked on cars in the past,
Upon checking the vehicle, I said the cars problem won\'t last.
He said can you fix it, I would be so thankfully,
I said of course I can, it\'s only your battereee.
How can i repay, this kindness you\'ve made,
A day out with my family, you have now definitely saved.
I said your happiness now,is all I can see,
if I were in the same boat,I\'d hope someone would help me.
