We work to pay things to keep us sane
But that work causes stress for our brain
All things around me are materialistic
Why do I actually need if I\'m being realistic
Yeah I need a house a roof over my head
But how much did I spend on that comfy bed spread
So I grab that overpriced coffee to make the day start somewhat ok
Times 3 quid by two every working day
Think if someone said no coffee but work less
Would that give me that little bit l less stress
But take away caffeine and I can\'t cope
I wonder what the salary is for the pope
Like some jobs just seem a bit out of kilter, someone who fights crime and saves lives gets less then a builder.
But I guess life is supply and demand, that\'s why footballs can dictate and command
Like I\'m no communist just making you think with this song
but I guess we need to focus on what\'s gone wrong
Like how can you step over him in the street and then go spend 8 quid on Maccy D.
Yeah I know you worked hard and you pay your tax
But you don\'t know his story maybe one day your train will be off tracks
