Lighthouse

Guardian wary, watching, waiting
Constantly turning, searching, alerting
White horses dancing, prancing
Crashing \'round my feet undaunted

Facing elements onslaught alone
In my citadel revolving
Surrounded by tempests angry, hungry
Claiming souls weary and lost

Sirens alluring, singing, calling
sailors, to a watery grave
Angry seas crashing, eager for fight
Desperate eyes, spy my warning light

Then, like a thief in the night
Snatching boat and drowning crew
From the mouth of the storm
Vigilant beacon guides them
Safe, to the shore
