I drive round in a car ~ when the journey is far
But when I\'m In the Hills and the Lakes and the Rills
I love to walk ~ to amble ~ to hike
But for short hops ~ like a trip to the shops
I really needed an old fashioned BIKE !
Now Bikes are expensive ~ a good one is dear
And where there are Hills ~ you need more than one gear
A good one I found would cost two-hundred pound ($260)
I spoke to my Friend ~ Peter Pryke ~ and
He asked me ~ \"Would you like a Bike ?\"
\"I have a Bike ~ that I no longer need
It\'s in quite good nick ~ and has gears ~ three speed\"
When I asked him the price ~ he answered \"My Friend\"
\"I don\'t need no money ~ have a hundred years lend !\"
So I got me Bike ~ it is really a treasure
With the wind at me back its gives me much pleasure !
So if for a Bicycle you have a need
Have Faith that God sends you a new VELOCIPEDE !
