The spotlight is on you,
The whole class looks your way
Anxiety kicks in,
The lesson didn\'t seem to stay.
You need to answer,
Your teacher called on you.
Every second that passes turns your face red and blue.
\"Oh my god, is she stupid?\" the class all seem to think.
Your mind is as empty and clear as a clean kitchen sink.
They all see you,
How you fail to not know.
\"She needs to hurry up, her brain is so slow\".
To the class the question is easy,
But your brain is indifferent.
The answer won\'t come to mind,
It\'s way too gone and distant.
On the verge of tears,
You cover your face and hide.
Not wanting them to see the embarrassment you hold deep inside.
You\'re frustrated with yourself because you looked like a fool.
The next morning you cry because you don\'t want to go to school.
You kicked yourself down every single day.
School was not a place where you can learn and play.
