Vanquinn

Core.

The chills of death creep up my spine,
I cannot help but wonder what is mine.
Thrown into the cold I was left to grow old,
My mind, body, and soul left to mold.

My open heart has been gashed,
Pieces of me torn and slashed.
Left on my own after many a year,
I cannot help but wonder about you my dear.

To know I will hold you no more,

Has shaken me down to my core.

Though we may never come back,

My love for you runs deeper than that.
