Lost Dreamer

An Ode To Mornings

The alarm rings a beautifully loud melody,

As one quickly wakes to greet the wonders of the day,

To experience this melody again, this pure pleasure of waking,

Some press the glorious snooze button,

Oh how wonderful mornings are

After the snooze is used to all its extent,

One takes the glorious step out of bed,

O the comforting cold floor greets the feet,

And magnificently bright lights which blind the rested eyes,

Oh how wonderful mornings are,

The pleasantly stubbed toe as one skips to the bathroom,

The cold seat that awaits,

The wonderful blurry vision as one tries to rub their eyes awake,

The comforting aches and pains,

Oh how wonderful mornings are.
