NEVER GRUMBLE ABOUT THE JOB YOU HAVE
MILLIONS ARE UNEMPLOYED AND WOULD LOVE IT
IF YOU HAVE RETIRED ~ THANK GOD YOU SURVIVED !
THE DAILY GRIND ~ THE DAILY GRIND
Can really grind me down I find
Its petty chores they blow my mind
Inescapable ~ DAILY GRIND !
I have to wash ~ I have to eat
I have to pedicure my feet
Make sure my clothes are washed and neat
And check for potholes in my Street !
To make sure I\'m not late for werk
My car runs smooth ~ and doesn\'t jerk
And book my lunch (its not a perk !)
And greet my Boss ~ and smile not smerk !
I use the GYM ~ so I look thinner
And count my calories ~ at dinner
Make sure I am a SAINT not SINNER
Meditate and Pray ~ I\'ll be a WINNER !
I read the papers ~ watch TV
Keep up to date from A to ZEE
A useful Citizen I\'ll be
THE DAILY GRIND ~ is killing me
If I don\'t stop ~ and get to bed
I\'ll pop my clogs and end up DEAD !
