No Nation

No nation confines me,

No orders no borders no disorder define me,

Hold no pried in nationality,

God commands thee not.

For pride is sin,

Your tribe, your vibe,

The color of your skin,

How different we all are, yet so familiar,

All just living in different States of disarray.

We do what we must,

to live another day.

In god we trust?

Who is we?

It certainly isn’t me.

The Show me mentality is fit for this reality,

For good or for worse

 No matter where I run,

Till they put me in a hearse

I\'ll always be from Missouri.

I won’t let it be my curse

Running to nowhere,

Running from no one,

Doesn’t matter if I get there,

Everything is under the sun.

Life is meant to be lived,

Life is meant to be loved,

But it doesn’t matter,

Meaning is long lost.

Like the gardens of Babylon,

We use to make great things,

It feels like nowadays,

I see less forest than flames.

I will not stay, I will not obey.

I may leave, but I will not grieve.

This was my country,

It was never my identity.

Buying into that philosophy

 would cost me my humanity.

No market is free,

Quit lying to me.

Its whole damn purpose

 is making people money.

My people want to build a wall,

I want to see it and them fall.

Experiencing justice for all,

But that shit ain’t my call.

Slowly they will die away,

But not fast enough,

Grab our machetes,

Lets cut their hands off.

Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide

In this global age,

Our problems are worldwide

What happens next

is up to us to decide.

Now if we could only, please simply swallow our pride.
