My perfect little Daffodil...

My Perfect Little Daffodil

In an attempt to catch her eye

I whispered as I passed her by

“Good morning” as I beg you will

“You are a pretty Daffodil” and,

Although I may have got a lynch

I swear it made her grown an inch

I wished I’d said it days before

She is the one that I adore

When the sun comes out

God shows her to me

I want to shout

I can see your beauty

I can see your beauty in every way

In every thing you do and sway

And all the friends you keep close to

Will never be perfect like you

All other passers by can’t see

Your wondrous smile and symmetry(Thanks William)

So sad to think they’ll never know

Your sunshine-given, heavens glow

I know they think you’re just a flower

Not miraculous and full of power

To me you see, you always will

Be my perfect little Daffodil...
