Garden
Sunshine
Twisting the spine to flick the pages of a well read book
I look up and light is thrown through the dappled leaves onto my already freckled face
Time has raced by since you walked away
You left and I screamed for you to stay
Now you scream to stay and I tell you to leave
I believed that day you took so much of me
Now I know you gave ME back
I cry for your pain and I would sew you together if I knew that my stitches would stay
But I don\'t cry for me
You took all of my tears
In the light of my garden I can see...
ME again
