The disciples they witnessed bold

And unto Thomas told

That they the risen Lord had seen

He with them He had been

 

But then the doubt, for Thomas he

That time Christ did not see

And said, I must view hands and feet

And Christ myself must greet

 

For he desired to see Christ\'s hands

Scarred, to redeem all lands

And too His feet, the nails print

Then I be sure, no hint

 

No hint, but for self I shall see

That He risen Christ be

And put my hand too in His side

Pierced, then I shall confide

 

Shall confide in Him, not before

I see His presence sure

Then Jesus comes again, appears

peace, quietens their fears

 

And says to Thomas, see and touch

Me, for \'tis I, \'twas such

That Thomas then he did confess

My Lord, my God, you bless

 

Yet Jesus says to Thomas then

Have you believed me when

You saw me here in person sure?

But there are blessings more

 

For blessed are they who have mot seen

Him, yet in faith have been

Assured of Him, for they believe

And Christ arisen receive
