Noveyre

Rain in the evening

A relief from reality,

A recreational sobriety

The rain the sole calamity

Falling down to Earth.

Nothing more is in the air

Than suicidal drops;

Cascading with care

To quench the thirsty crops.

Everywhere and evermore

Thunder claps and lightning for

the sky to glaze electric haze

Overcast outwits the day

On the porch now, by the front;

Comes rolling in, on the hunt;

Vacation from all my volition

All there is to do is wait.

And why it pours as like stars\' fall,

Luminous \'llueve\',

All the world so cooled and calm

With petrichor and peace.
