Have You Seen My Voice?

I’ve lost something,

Important to me.

Gone from my grasp,

How can this be?

My vocal cords,

Are on the fritz.

Any remedy,

To help with this?

It’s what I use,

To express myself.

But, now it’s gone.

Like this, never felt.

I’ll have to call in,

A day from work.

Hope my voice,

Will come back, return.
