Alcohol\'s next day...
Gods of Venice I see you no more,
A life without wine is no life at all.
I shiver, I creak, as the day maps its Path,
The light is too bright, gone is my last laugh.
A mouth so dry that a dessert would avoid,
An ancient mans voice is a sound I make loud.
Voices from the past, haunt my waking day,
I cannot now concentrate, even as I kneel down to pray.
False joy Was entertained, during that alcoholic night before,
But This days reality, hits hard it\'s mighty blow.
My Memory and money are in short supply today,
From this first day, a promise to live life an alcohol free way....
