I feel the ache that\'s in my heart.
It\'s about to break, yet you are so far.
Is this what falling out of love feels like?
Trying to decide whether to fight through this agony, to grip for what we once were.
Or to get away from all of the negativity that has begun to stir.
Noticing you have only become a surface relationship...that you don\'t really connect on deep levels anymore.
Begging and continually reaching for her.
Pleading to reestablish and reconnect,
But instead she reaches for another, putting the dagger even deeper into your chest.
Yet you love her and want to build a future with her, a life where the two of you are happy and together.
But that isn\'t what she seems to want...though she does state she wants you forever.
So why do you want him? This I will never understand.
And it may be what brings our innocent love to a tragic end.
