Painted carelessly onto the face while
The black rimmed eyes below the mane
Show only sadness, hurt, and pain
The smile a façade and nothing more
Hiding the true feelings at the core
Make believe of fun and games
While inside all’s up in flames
Boldly carrying that garish smile
Into the tent and down the aisle
Never letting anybody know
