Ghost of Atlantis

Vastness, reticent.
Drawing absence, submerged.
Sunlight serves a contrast,
Only to darken hollow prayers.

Stolen, be it antipathy or indifference.
Waters are hindered.
Currents, no longer sway.
Outlets of motion, no more tides.

Deceased, alas survived.
Laid waste, here, in reckoning of Poseidon.
Spoken, no reply.
Emptiness, void of cries.
Within the nothing;
Only I.

Recollect, can not.
Innumerable the years.
Salt brought forth the undertow,
Product of a myriad\'s tears.

Drift along; shall for long,
Reliving the instance it sank.
Any diver amidst this blackened sea,
If thee ever may happen across it;
I entreat you: \"Saveth me.\"
