Hold to the Lord, His mercies sure

Go by His power, not human might

Christ is your Saviour still
A light to share, a love to give
That others know and live
Each has some part, some evangel
To go, preach, heal, and tell
Tell of the gospel, and gifts too
In His service renew
Those gifts and fruit of His Spirit
As in the Scriptures writ[ten]
So preaching, teaching, healing too
We each may hear and view
The Spirit, He not obsolete
Still today our needs meet[s]
Forwards in Him, not rule or rite
That can obscure our sight
But knowing Father, Spirit, Son
