The sun rises & sets
Like the long hand,
The plane takes off
& lands,
Like the short hand.
Below,
The ocean is like the
Perfect waterbed
For birds;
With a sunset headboard;
Under the fleeting planes
And hot air balloons.
The shore is a place, that,
Mermaids bask in the sun,
And sleep the night away,
Like the beautiful seals.
The beauty of the sky
Is forever going,
It’s hard for people
To realize when a day
Has gone & when one has
Begun.
