That sound comes
And I wonder who it is!
Who is screaming!
Or who is attacking me!
But no it is the pipes.
The Scottish bagpipes!!
I can understand
Their use in war and in battle,
As they are an offensive weapon
And enemies would run from them.
Whenever I hear them
I would like them to play
“Over the hills and far away”,
And the further away the better!!
