Flames of passion, flames of war
The flames which leave no more
Eternally growing and consuming
Leaving the ashes of your being
Flames of truth, flames of justice
Their heat reaching towards bliss
Doomed to fade into a dying ember
Until there is nothing of it to remember
Sullen and dull, a frozen hearth
Fractured and now a broken heart
Whose ghost of will strives to exist
No purpose and lost, unable to reminisce
Burnt matches, a wall meant to be a door
A flame absorbing its light, now no more
