Some question if you’re there
If you really exist
If they believe at all
Your love still they resist
They ask why you allow
Bad things to happen
But if they look at society
It’s a self-inflicted pattern
We’re all of our own ethics
Following our own beliefs
And at days end
We must pay for our receipts
Some feel that you owe them
Simply because they were born
Ungrateful for their life
Evident of the frown worn
We all have morals
Some good, some bad
And we all have priorities
We learned from mom and dad
Some believe in you
And some don’t
Some love you
And some won’t
And some will say
That for us you don’t care
Reluctant to hear us
Me? I know you’re there
