Let Love Lead the Way

Do you question events in your life

Like where you’re meant to be

Do you ever lay awake at night

Hearing whispers in your heart from me

When you moved away from New England

There’s some real estate you left behind

Your name on the deed

The deed to the lonely heart of mine

Why do I let you rule my heart?

Maybe because its my life to live

Even if you don’t love me

Still my love to you I give

For less worthy a heart

I’ve loved and lost before

With you it doesn’t matter if I gain or loose

Only that you own the key to my heart’s door

To please you I’d assign your name

To beautiful radiant flowers

I’d paint the moon pink

Shout “I Love You Sharon”

From the top of Lawson Tower

I may end up the fool

But that’s OK

Sometimes you need to listen to your heart

And let love lead the way
