I\'m back at my Mother\'s where I\'m supposed to be,
I just need to realize that it\'s not about me.
Hard as it seems, I just try and get along,
I know deep inside to just remain strong.
I\'m where I need to be and not somewhere other,
I have to concentrate, it\'s all about my Mother.
I don\'t need to dwell on what is happening,
Having to remember to tie her shoestring.
It\'s little things like that which seem to bother me.
Even the Hummingbirds that are nesting in her tree.
I only have to get this monkey off my shoulder,
For that, I need the strength of a giant boulder.
A doctor\'s appointment that she has on Monday,
After it\'s over, I\'ll just disappear in some way.
I too have problems and chores of my own,
My siblings will have to reap what they/ve sown.
I know that I have done everything that I can.
I must take a stand, and become a good man.
