My mind is a feral animal that I never learned to tame.
Compulsive in its nature, it seeks out the darkest \'what ifs\' to entertain.
It lunges at speeding figures in the dark on its search for confirmation,
a large glass of ice-water amidst chronic dehydration.
It lives only in the past and the future, using the present solely as a catalyst;
always working towards one answer:
Do I deserve happiness?
