Navin Samarakoon

Yet Which I Doubt

\"I\'ve been everywhere\" he said

Yet which I doubt

Through bodies and dust

Through rains and drought

\"The humans fear me\" he said

Yet which I doubt

The mother wail

and the daughters pout

\"Wars are nothing without me\" he said

Yet which I doubt

For wars were waged with swords

Long before you came about

\"I exist for the betterment of humans\" he said

Yet which I doubt

Although Humans do love it

Not all are so devout

\"I am a bullet\" he said

Yet which I know

Yet humans cannot see

That It is a foe
