THE VOLUME OF THE PLANET MARS IS ONLY 15% THAT OF THE EARTH
If we start our MARS colony ~ with one thousand Souls
We\'ll have to live underground ~ like rabbits & moles
MARS is 140 milion miles away
So you can\'t get there and back in a day !
To travel that far ~ with all your gear
Will take you at least ~ a half of a Year !
When you arrive ~ with Wife Son & Daughter
There ain\'t no air to breath ~ an\' no runnin\' water
No SUPERMERCADOS ~ stocked up with food
No Houses or Flats to shelter your brood !
No Roads & no Cars ~ to travel around
No Birds & no Bees ~ just barren red ground,
BUZZ ALDRIN ~ says don\'t worry ~ if you want to stay
We\'ll melt ice and make water and O2 ~ OK !
Turn Regolith to soil and grow rice an\' peas
Keep chucks for eggs ~ an\' plant Apple Trees
I don\'t know who\'ll finance it ~ TRUMP\'s already said
\"Ah don\'t want the fifty~first State to be RED !\"
