“Andy! Andy! Come quick!!” the wife yelled.
I raced to her, thinking she was hurt!
“Is that a dead bird in the garden?” she shouted,
I looked out and saw it,
A large brown bird lying still on the ground.
A smile came to my face,
I knew what it was.
I walked gently into the garden
Down to the bird.
Gently picked it up,
And replaced the metal heron
Back into its place
From whence it had fallen.
