Life goes by in spite of plans,
The seconds tick away.
Nothing you can do to stop,
Or even make them stay.
Time marches straight ahead,
And doesn’t take a break.
It doesn’t care the plans you have,
Or the decisions you will make.
There is no way we can ever know
What time that still remain.
To watch the sunset fade away,
Or sit and watch the rain.
The time we spend with those we love,
Could be cut short today.
So if you want to speak your love,
Now is the time to say.
The chances may just fade away,
That is why I insist.
Don’t wait till it’s too late,
To fulfill your bucket list.
