Writing has given me challenges,
That help keep me mentally in shape.
Mypoeticside has given me shelter,
A place where my soul can escape.
I come here when I thirst for expression,
Some words bring laughter and others bring tears,
To be surrounded by all those who know me,
Is a little like going to \"Cheers\".
So a tribute to all of you poets,
Whose writings sustain me each day;
Keep writing the words that inspire me,
And I\'ll keep tucking them away.
For each brings so much to the table,
With every poem that you all share.
I can walk with you on every journey,
And never get out of my chair.
